No vignette or toll is required for any vehicle with a Ukrainian registration

No road fee is charged for any vehicle bearing an Ukrainian registration number – e-vignette for motor vehicles weighing up to 3,5 tons and a toll for the lorries and buses weighing over 3,5 tonnes when using the republican road network. This measure has been adopted with a decision of the Council of Ministers and will be in force from 24th February 2022 to the time when there will be no need to provide humanitarian and medical aid. It adds to the measures adopted by the state to provide assistance to Ukraine with reference to the emergency military situation and the increasing humanitarian crisis.
All the detected violations in the electronic system of vehicles bearing a Ukrainian registration after 24th February will be removed so that the vehicles will unimpededly leave the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The experts of the National Toll Management are constantly in touch with their colleagues at the Customs Agency who conduct the last inspection of the vehicle before it leaves the territory of the country.
